EARLY MARRIAGES (1862 -1919) IN WASHINGTON COUNTY UTAH MALE AND FEMALE SURNAME INDEXES Early Marriage Index	These are No. 5 and 6 in the Washington County, Utah - Family Research Series by Wesley W. Craig, Ph.D. It's great to get yet another well-documented,comprehensive, research tool from Dr. Craig for this website. This is great for those searching for all Southern Utah ancestors. Many couples traveled to St. George to be married in the LDS temple there so there are couples listed from all over southern Utah, as well as the surrounding states. Thanks once again, Wes!
CEMETERY INDEXES Washington County Cemetery Index.	This revised 1998 version of the cemetery indexes is online as of 5 May 1998. It includes over thirty cemeteries from the first edition as well as an expanded Shivwits cemetery page, and new pages for Silver Reef and Duncan's Retreat. Thanks again to Wesley Craig, Phd. for this generous contribution.
PIONEER INDEX (1852-1870) Washington County Pioneer Index Town Pioneer Index	We have received a wonderful index from Wesley W. Craig and Roberta Blake Barnum. The authors have compiled an index of the pioneers who settled in Washington County from 1852 through 1870. There are two indexes one listing females by their maiden names and the main index with male listings first. We have now added a separate pioneer database separated into towns so you can see each town as a separate pioneer list.
WASHINGTON COUNTY UTAH MASTER CEMETERY INDEX	A master 1998 cemetery index - all of Washington county on one list - is available for ftp download in the USGenWeb archives. This is a text file and not in database or table form but is a great resource if you don't know the town where your elusive ancestor was buried. This file is also from Dr. Craig and is large (well over 400 pages - 700 K) and will take a while to load if you have dial-up. WORLD WAR II MILITARY INDEX Military Index Page	*An Historical Index of Men and Women of Washington County Utah who Served in the Military During World War II* compiled by Abram Owen Young, Jr. is one of our newest indexes. Thanks so much to George Spencer for obtaining this military index for us and obtaining permission to publish it on the internet. This index includes over 1200 servicemen and women from Washington County and also from nearby communities in Nevada and Arizona.

TOWN/COUNTY LISTS State Index	Thanks to Abe Young for sharing some very helpful town and county lists he has compiled for Utah and also Nevada, Idaho, Arizona, Wyoming, and Massachusetts. These lists are very helpful in quickly finding the county in which each town is located, which will then help us locate the records and locations of our elusive ancestors.
WPA MANUSCRIPTS WPA Index	This collection from the Library of Congress, Manuscript Division, WPA Federal Writers' Project Collection includes personal histories and remembrances from Washington County Utah. I will be adding to it so be sure to check back.
POSTCARD PROJECT Postcards	It's finally here!! The postcard project includes over 100 postcards of the St. George area. Most are forty to fifty years old, with some older and one or two from the 1970s. These postcards offer a look at the St. George area as it used to be.

The copyright will stay in your name and we do not sell or publish submissions. We can accept anything in the public domain, anything published before 1921, and/or items published after 1921 with written permission from the author. -Cindy
